bash tool - line not available

Hi,

Does anyone know why the "line" tool is not available with FC5? Is there
a replacement tool being used?

Currently I have to download the util-linux package and manually add to
FC5. But its been around in the Unix environment for so very long, so
any chance of this tool being added back to the FC6?
