Hi,

Can I please piggyback on this thread also? I have not had sound working for me
on my Dell Precision 650 dual processor for two months or so. It worked
previously, just fine.

Here is the output of

%/sbin/lsmod |grep snd
snd_intel8x0 36445 1
snd_ac97_codec 96225 1 snd_intel8x0

snd_seq 59441 5 snd_seq_dummy,snd_seq_oss,snd_seq_midi_event

snd_page_alloc 14665 2 snd_intel8x0,snd_pcm

Any suggestions as to what is wrong? I am running FC5 and kernel
2.6.17-1.2174_FC5 but it is perhaps not a kernel issue, since kernels issued
over the past 2 months have also had this problem...

Many thanks and best wishes,
Trotter
