Dell E1705 9400 Notebook

	I am using a Toshiba, which seems not able to use ACPI in any way
because it produces  "Disabling IRQ11".
	If I use the Dell, as above, will things be better?  Will ACPI allow
correct action when the lid is shut, for instance?
