I'm no yum expert, but

(1) If your main aim is to make sure "yum update" works,
I would only enable the fedora-updates and fedora-extras repositories,
at least temporarily.
(Put "enabled=0" in the others.)

(2) You could try saying "yum --exclude=geronimo* update"

(3) You could try looking for the required rpm file in rpmfind.net .
