Hi,

since upgrading FC5's kernel my keyboard seems someeeeetimes to get
stuck only to (falsly) register a too long pressed key. The above
"sometimes" just happened the way I describe.

The system is otherwise not on load or doing anything relevant. In
fact it's mostly idling.

The previous (working) kernel was 2.6.17-1.2139_FC5. I can't say for
sure whether it's the kernel update that broke it or something else,
but checking rpm -qa --last doesn't reveal anything else that could
mess with my keyboarrrrrd (the r's are also genouine).

This is usually a BIOS bug, although I've seen reports that it can be
worked around with some kernel boot parameters. I'll guess that
you're using a dual core CPU in an Asus motherboard?
