makeing 2.6.17.6 from 2.6.16.11

Greetings;

Once again home, and feeling the need to bleed a bit since 2.6.16.11
crashed on me last night while playing catchup either with fetchmail or
amanda (and I've since run 2 sessions of amanda with the expected
results considering the machine has been powered down since May 9th)
without leaving a trace of any kind in the logs, I just fired off my
script to go and make me a shiny new 2.6.17.6 kernel, using the .config
for 2.6.16.11 as the 'make oldconfig' src.

Anything in particular I should be wary of?

People having trouble with vz bouncing email to me should add the word
'online' between the 'verizon', and the dot which bypasses vz's
stupid bounce rules. I do use spamassassin too. :-)
