several questions about kernel, iptables, pptp, DKMS, l7-filter in Fedora

Hi, all,
Now I have some questions when I start to compile my fedora system:
My config: Fedora 3, i386,
    Kernel: 2.6.11-1.35_FC3smp
    iptables: v1.2.11
My compile target: get a kernel could handle PPTP, l7-filter

1. Is this version iptables for feodra enable pptp function? if not,
how could I patch it and compile it?
2. according to netfilter.org, it is said that pptp-conntrack-nat,
which is my need? does NOT work with kernels > 2.6.10, so that mean I
need to downgrade my core?
3. could I use the kernel source from kernel.org instead of from fedora?
4. could I compile l7-filter and iptables pptp-conntrack-nat as a
module, not as a kernel core function? So that I could enable ot
disable in runnning.
5. If 4 is true, how could I use DKMS-Dynamic Kernel Module Support
to complie these module?
6. is my kernel epoll enable? how to know it?

Any tips will be welcome,

Zhou Zhen
