yum update stalls on last update

Trying to update Fedora Core 5 using the "yum update" command.

That's it.  That's as far as I go.  It stalls at that point.  I have tried
"yum clean cache" "yum clean all" "yum clean dbcache", "yum clean metadata",
separately and together.  Every time I get this far after issuing "yum update"
and no further.
