Yes, as long as:
1. The upgrade has been successful and the fedora-release package is the
FC5 one.
2. The repo file uses the $releasever variable in the .repo file rather
than hardcoding it.
3. The actual repo uses the same directory hierarchy for their FC5 repo
as for their FC4 repo, so that changing $releasever is all that's
needed.

To the OP, what's in your /etc/yum.repos.d/fedora-extras.repo ?
