As the subject states I can not get yum to update I know my mirrors
are carrying a lot of files for downloading,I ran 'yum clean all' and

Provide more detailed information so people have something to work
with. For example: Which release of Fedora are you using? What are the
contents of /etc/yum.conf and the contents of the .repo files in
/etc/yum.repos.d/?
Ok I forgot to put in FC 5,here are the files you requested.I have not
provided all the repo's as their are to many so these I use mainly.

A simple selinux command '/sbin/fixfiles relabel' fixed my problem.
