Yes it does, exactly as above.

Also, on one of my machines, rpm-build won't update:

Hmmmm...

Let me guess, you have a /usr/src/redhat that's a symlink or something else that isn't a directory...

Actually, that directory somehow got deleted. I re-made it, and it worked. Thanks for the heads up.
