Yes, it does, but the driver does not work for 3D gaming or
applications. For that, you need the ATI drivers, which are easily
installed from such repos that provide them in RPM form.

Yes, there are: in the ATI website indeed; Also, repos like Livna build
them.
The FC4 installer recognized and configured my ATI X600 graphics
card.
