I said yes, Hi Albert - Use, eg, Ctrl-Alt-F2 to get to a text-mode login screen, then less /var/log/Xorg.0.log go to the end and start looking upwards until you find the (EE) error line that explains the problem. (press q to exit less) Edit /etc/X11/xorg.conf if necessary to fix the problem, or if it makes no sense post about the (EE) error here again. -Andy
