Please provide log messages. Cyrus-IMAPd logs with facility MAIL to the
syslog. I don't know which facility the FDS uses; OpenLDAP uses LOCAL4,
so you can let it log into its own log file by adjusting
/etc/syslog.conf.

/usr/lib/sasl is SASL version1, just there for very rare cases of
backwards compatibility. What you need to look at is /usr/lib/sasl2/,
where you should see libldapdb.so* in there (FC4).
