This sounds like a multi-session disc (one part bogus, one part music).
If you have burning software, you may have tools to look at the other
sessions.  Some systems (I don't know about Linux ones) would let you
look at other sessions if you inserted a disc with your finger on a
hotkey.

I'm curious, though, about what would happen if you put it in a CD-ROM
drive that has audio buttons on the front panel, and played it that way
(without making any real use of the computer, other than as the drive's
power supply).
