xmms lost output after update

I used up2date to install new xmms and lost any ability to play. The
message "No output plugins have been selected" appears, but when I
attempt to select the output plugin nothing happens, no options
appear. This is FC4x86_64. Maybe mixed repositories? Any help would be
greatly appreciated.
