Don't know but there is a neat little app called rktime that shows the
time in different timezones. Example output:

[patrick@laptop ~]$ rktime
2005-12-01 19:07 -0800 Thu US/Pacific
2005-12-01 22:07 -0500 Thu US/Eastern
------------------new day----------------------
2005-12-02 03:07 +0000 Fri UTC
2005-12-02 03:07 +0000 Fri Europe/London
2005-12-02 04:07 +0100 Fri Europe/Amsterdam <-
2005-12-02 08:37 +0530 Fri Asia/Calcutta
2005-12-02 11:07 +0800 Fri Asia/Singapore
2005-12-02 11:07 +0800 Fri Asia/Hong_Kong
2005-12-02 12:07 +0900 Fri Asia/Tokyo
2005-12-02 13:07 +1000 Fri Australia/Brisbane

You can find info here: http://rpmforge.net/user/packages/rktime/
Maybe it helps to figure it out.
