Yes - I have a Western Digital external drive that the FC4 2.6.13.x
kernels recognized and even noticed the md device during bootup.  With
the current kernel it lists the drive in /proc/scsi/scsi but there is
no associated /dev/sdx device connected to it, so obviously no
partitions or md devices become active.
