depends on what you mean by 'down'...

is the www.google.com up/running... yeah...

does it appear that the cached information for various query result items
are unable to be accessed, yep!!!

so.. the site seems to be partially working... but i've seen this behavior
before...

any problem that you experience with a service such as this is likely both
