Hi Frank,

Most often these errors are from your CD or DVD drive, and are not a
cause for concern. To find out, open a terminal window and type "mount"
and look for "/dev/hde".

If /dev/hde is not your CD or DVD drive, (ie. it is a hard drive) then
you have have a hardware problem with the hard drive.
