Hello again,

I fixed this problem by making the /etc/hosts file on PuteC (running
FC4) look like the old one on PuteA (still running FC3). But I was just
hacking in the dark and don't know why this worked.
When I installed FC4 on PuteC the /etc/host file looked like this:

192.168.1.12 PuteC.SMAssociates.com PuteC localhost.localdomain
localhost
192.168.1.11 PuteA.SMAssociates.com PuteA

To get something looking like the FC3 version on PuteA I took out the
localhost.localdomain and localhost aliases. Now the printer works
fine. But why?

Jerry
