I've added

/sbin/modprobe pcspkr

to /etc/rc.d/rc.local

That'll work, or put it in /etc/sysconfig/modules/pcspkr.modules

	#!/bin/sh
	/sbin/modprobe pcspkr

which is where module loading scripts are intended to go.
