FC4 installation on p-series

I am trying to install FC4 on an IBM p-series. I have created a bootable CD from the images/pseries boot.iso file which was on CD1. It starts by loading Elf64, then loads the RAMDISK, then displays some messages about memory, and looks for a display adapter. Then the screen goes white, and the following messages appear:

done
opening PHB /pci@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx done
opening PHB /pci@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx done
instantiating rtas at 0x000000003ed11000... done

Building dt structure...
Device tree strings 0x0000000004989000 ---> 0x000000000498a3c3
Device tree struct 0x000000000498b000 ---> 0x0000000004994000
Calling quiesce...
returning from prom_init

Then it just hangs and I have to reboot.

Any idea why it would be doing this or how to fix it?

Thanks

Paul
