ia64 is is itanium. adm64 should probably be more properly called x86_64
at this point.

I think you downloaded the wrong driver. You're using an driver for AMD
64bit,
you'll need the INTEL 64bit driver, which can be found on
http://www.nvidia.com/object/linux_display_ia64_1.0-5336.
