Okay, that looks like original FC4. So, if

rpm -V yum python python-sqlite sqlite

is happy, too (should not list any modified files), more investigation is
needed. Is this with SELinux enabled? Does relabeling SELinux help?

Michael,

[root@dude ~]# rpm -V yum python python-sqlite sqlite
.......T c /etc/yum.conf
..?..... /usr/lib/python2.4/site-packages/repomd/__init__.py
..?..... /usr/lib/python2.4/bsddb/test/__init__.py
..?..... /usr/lib/python2.4/email/test/__init__.py

SELinux is disabled.

Just to confirm, I checked the files that returned a "?" from one of the tests and they are all zero-length. I don't know if this is correct, or not.
