I don't know exactly myself, but it seems that it is possible to get
wrongly labeled (or unlabeled) files and dirs when installing stuff, and
telling SELinux to do it over again allows those files and dirs to get
(properly) labeled.  In any event, such advice has fixed other peoples
problems.
