This was actually covered just a few days ago on this very list.

I'll try to outline what needs to be done:

Sendmail should be installed on your system.  There are plenty of good
sites for information on how to get this to work.  One point is:

Go here and download MailScanner.  Follow the included instructions.
http://www.sng.ecs.soton.ac.uk/mailscanner/downloads.shtml

Go here and download the ClamAV packages.  Not much else to do here.
http://crash.fce.vutbr.cz/crash-hat/4/clamav/

Spamassassin should be installed on your system.  There are plenty of good
sites for information on how to get this to work.  Here is one:
