I work mostly remote so i dont "hear" or "see" the discs going nuts :)

But I put that information into my e-mail. Apparently it didn't get read.

And the yum process is done in a few secs on my dual cpu neon 3ghz machines.

I use a 2.7GHz machine myself. Doesn't speed up the disc much...
