You're kidding, right? What would the ISP have to do with "popups" ? If
you have that much trouble with popups on web pages, use Firefox and turn
on the popup blocking, it works pretty darn good.

That said, MSN is a crappy ISP that shouldn't be used period, but it has
nothing to do with popups.

This is untrue. Some ISPs require special software *cough* SPYWARE *cough* to connect to them. AOL is a classic example of this, but there are others. This software can cause popups.

To quote Netzero's (they require software also) website:
"NetZero does NOT support the following operating systems: Mac OS 9 or earlier, Windows 3.11 or earlier, Windows CE, Palm OS, Sega Dreamcast, Sony Playstation 2, Microsoft X-Box, Web TV, Unix/Linux for PC/Mac, and Mobile Phone Web."
http://www.netzero.net/support/start/requirements.html

This software (netzero) WILL cause popups.
http://www.netzero.net/legal/terms.html
"You expressly permit and authorize NetZero and its affiliates (and such third parties as may be authorized by NetZero, subject to the Privacy Statement) to furnish you, electronically when you use the NetZero Services or by any other means selected by NetZero, information or materials prepared by NetZero or by (or on behalf of) other entities, including advertising information and solicitations."

If you are stuck on dial up, and want to avoid messing with dial up networking I recommend one of these http://www.b2net.co.uk/multitech/multitech_routefinder_dialup_router.htm
