I use it for webmail improvements and phpMyAdmin too.

Fedora Extras 4 has

php-eaccelerator-4.3.10_0.9.2a-1.i386.rpm
php-mmcache-4.3.10_2.4.6-5.i386.rpm

I would give one of both a try and test how your specific applications
can benefit.
