Hi All, I recently did a clean install of FC4 on my computer and everything has been working fine until about an hour ago. I restarted my computer and it failed to connect to our network DHCP server, displaying the error, "icmp open socket: permission denied" during the boot stage. I don't understand why this has suddenly started occurring. It has been connecting fine all week. I rebooted into Windows XPoo to ensure that our DHCP hadn't died. XPoo finds and connects to the DHCP server no problem at all. If you guys would like I can post my iptables file, if you think it will help provide some answers. I have, for the time being, statically set my network details in order to still gain network access. Thanks for your assistance. Cheers, Tony Crouch
