I've updated several gnome based FC3 machines without
any hitch. If the information is correct :-

- It affects KDE based machines (in which case you
should see tens of thousands of complaints all over
the web)
- File a bug report at bugzilla

- You have probably tweaked the settings beforehand in
which case this would be the source of your problems.
