I'd begin by running fsck and badblocks on this drive.

I performed successully both fsck and badblocks, but after a reboot
I notice the first hdd on the hardware RAID5 set was in failed state. So my question
now is: does the panic was caused by the hdd failure on a hardware RAID5 set? Also,
why the driver of the RAID5 controller doesn't handle correctly this condition?
