I have a problem with using yum. When I install some softwares, sometimes yum gives me an error, but some other times it run correctly. The error that it gives me is:
# yum install nvu
.....
xcyb-stabl: ################################################## 34/34
No Match for argument: nvu
Nothing to do
NB: I'm usin FC3. Have you a solution for this problem?
The problem here is that none of the repositories you have configured for yum on your system contain the nvu program. So yum cannot find it and hence cannot install it.
Perhaps someone can suggest a repo?
It's not in Fedora Extras, and I don't think it's in any of the RPMforge repos - see http://bugzilla.atrpms.net/show_bug.cgi?id=30
