Yes, I am running at the konsole and this is a snip from the command
line:
[root@ns2 log]# yum -d 10 update
Yum Version: 2.2.0

Yes, I am running through a router/firewall and my rules are enforce,
all outbound traffic uninhibited and all unrequested inbound traffic
dropped (including ICMP ECHO).

I am going to reboot my router after this mail goes out and then try
again.
