Subject: FC3 lilo/grub issues...

hi...

i'm going from an FC2->FC3. I did an upgrade using the FC3 iso cds. The
issue i'm having now, is that the system was setup to use lilo, and i'd like
to switch to grub.

so, what do i need to do to switch from lilo to grub? what are the commands
i need to implement?

i have the /etc/grub.conf, and it looks ok, although i'm going to remove the
reference to the old linux kernel... i also seem to have the
/boot/grub/device.map set correctly...

is it just as simple as running 'grub-install'?

any ideas..

thanks..

Yes, it is just that simple. Have a look at http://orgs.man.ac.uk/documentation/grub/grub_3.html#SEC10 for more details.
