I hope it works for you. Your modprobe.conf is nearly identical to mine, except for that one line, and the card-specific variations we have. The Hauppauge is the classic Linux TV-Card and ought to work splendidly. Both use Brooktree chips. Keep us posted, and as a last resort, there is always rc.local. I just think this is slicker.
