libcyrpto and libssl are not part of glibc-devel. They are part of openssl package.


[root@aabento ~]# yum install vsftpd*

You can't use wildcards with yum. At least not like that. What you need is:


# yum install vsftpd

When you do that, it will list you all dependencies, and ask you if you want to proceed to install them.
