Tired of PCMCIA Fix: Please Help

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

I am tired of googling and trying to fix this myself
but no use! I need help:

I have a Xircom Wireless Card PCMCIA and A Dell
Latitude with Fedora Core 2.

Everytime I try to run Network Configuration an eth0
activation I get,

xirc2ps_cs device eth0 does not seem to be present,
delaying initialization

I try to run this script which I have written myself
modprobe yenta_socket
/etc/rc.d/init.d/pcmcia start
service network restart
 iwconfig eth0 essid linksys

## How do I add an eth0 device

because it says eth0 device, no such interface found.

Any help to run this wireless card in fedora core 2 is
greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Rebel
