Dear All,

A while back I filed a bug report with mozilla.org regarding the
interpretation of URLs like

ftp://user@xxxxxxxxxx

It appears that under _linux_ the url is interpreted as

mailto:ftp://user@xxxxxxxxxx

So, instead of opening a browser, it opens a compose window addressed to
"ftp://user@xxxxxxxxxx";. Under WinXP clinking on the link opens a
browser as expected. The bug is filed under:

https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=278254

Could someone else please verify this and file comments?

Thanks,
- -M
