Hi everybody!

I use Fedora Core 3, and am quite happy with it.
There are just a few things I noticed.
Firstly, MP3 didnt work. I read why, and I fixed it.

But, I cant play any divx or xvid or mpeg movies.
Could someone tell me what I need to do to get that working?

Kind regards,
Coert

Install any of the video players: mplayer, xine or vlc. They install automatically (through dependancies) all the needed codec libraries. You can get them from freshrpms or dag repositories.

You might also want to grab the 'w32codec' package. It's available at the ATrmps repository.

Best,

You are right. It is not needed to play divx or xvid, but may be useful for playing formats that have no linux native codec, like wmv.
