I believe that you meant to say 'psmouse.proto=imps' or
'psmouse.proto=bare'

I will try the 'psmouse.resetafter=10' the next time I reboot which may
not be for quite some time. I would love to get back some of the
functionality of my mouse, lost by the psmouse.proto=bare appendage.
