When I reboot with Install Disk 1, I get the splash screen giving me the choice of the (normal graphic or text) (install or upgrage). I choose either. I get a few lines saying tha vmlinuz is loading and then the whole process just stops dead. I am vershtumped.

Can someone please advise what to do or what additional info I need to provide?

Uh, try adding "noapic" to the boot command. Dual Athlons sometimes need that. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- - Rick Stevens, Senior Systems Engineer rstevens@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx - - VitalStream, Inc. http://www.vitalstream.com - - - - Tempt not the dragons of fate, since thou art crunchy and taste - - good with ketchup. - ----------------------------------------------------------------------
