fc3+slmodem won't send/receive bytes

My system is fc3 with custom kernel (2.6.9-1.667 + software suspend
enabled). I have installed slmodem-2.9.10 from www.smlink.com according
to instructions provided. And I have copied /dev/slamr0
to /etc/udev/devices/ using

# cp -a /dev/slamr0 /etc/udev/devices/

Finally I managed to established a connection with my ISP. wvdial dump
and modem information available below. But I can't send/receive bytes. I
tried:

# ping 202.148.8.129 --> ISP address replied OK
# ping www.google.com --> no response

I tried ifconfig and it shows ppp0 activated

ppp0 Link encap:Point-to-Point Protocol
          inet addr:202.148.8.176 P-t-P:202.148.8.129
Mask:255.255.255.255
          POINTOPOINT NOARP MULTICAST MTU:1500 Metric:1
          RX packets:13 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 frame:0
          TX packets:23 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 carrier:0
          collisions:0 txqueuelen:3
          RX bytes:132 (132.0 b) TX bytes:550 (550.0 b)

what should I do? I suspect it has something related to routing or
something, but I have no clue. Any solution?

Thanks in advance.
