VPN used to be quite a simple process, you could build the PPTPD mppe

And then it all got changed!

Has anyone out there built the RPMs for the standard MPPE PPTPD packages
for Fedora Core 3 x64 Athlon or if you could suggest a way round it.

All I want is to have some type of VPN access from a Window client to my
Fedora Core 3 X64 server. Wheather I use PPTPD or may be IPSEC I have
tried both and nieth seem to be particaluarly simple (the MPPE side of the
PPTPD was just hell!)

Look into openvpn. There is a MS client as well.
