Hello,

Has FC3 a tool to resize NTFS and FAT partitions while installing?

If yes, do I have to perform any actions before resizing (like to defragment or anything else)?

Thanks to all of you who will reply.

I used the first disk of Mandrake for a program called DiskDrake (or similar name) to resize my preinstalled XP installation. I defragmented the XP partition before shrinking the bloated drive.

I don't use XP much, but did not note any instabilities within the reduced NTFS partion. I then installed an FC1 test version on the previously wasted area that XP used to consume.

/dev/hda3 2187 3648 11743515 8e Linux LVM

It works! But backing up any data is a good precaution.
