At least on the default yum.conf that FC3 installs, as the xmms-mp3 RPMs apparently aren't in the default yum repositories--I tried. A google search on "Fedora Core 3 mp3" yielded: http://www.linuxquestions.org/questions/showthread.php?s=&forumid=35&threadid=267844 The option to install a freshmeat RPM succeeded on my system. Now I discover I can't get my sound card working ...
