Hi all,

I've been running Fedora Core 3 for a few weeks now and for the life of me I can't get the CDRW to mount correctly so I can read CD's. It writes wonderfully, but to read a disk isn't happening. I get an error message back from the system that reads:

There's a bug in the default udev. You need to update your udev package to the latest version.

awesome! thanks for the info. The version that comes with Fedora Core 3 us 039-10.FC3.6 and according to Synaptic there doesn't appear to be an upgrade. Would that be on the mirrors or does one have to look elsewhere?

thanks,

039-10.FC3.6 is latest from Redhat/Fedora as far as I know
