See https://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=111161 for a
lengthy saga and https://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?
id=139188.

I am not having any problems at present with my KVM switch (FC3 latest).
Keys seem to be: 1) use PS/2 style mouse (no USB to PS/2 adapter), and
2) keep selected throughout the boot sequences.

The option to use in grub is like the following:

    kernel /vmlinuz-2.6.9-1.698_FC3smp ro root=LABEL=/1
psmouse.proto=imps

other suggestions are in the bugs listed above.
