Which one are you trying to install? FC1? FC2? FC3?

<vmware users might have a better answer but>

- you might need vmware 4.5.2 for 2.6 kernel based distros (FC2/FC3)
- I've seen folks install off iso images on disk - instead of 'CDs' for
install within vmware.
